The curing speed and positioning are slow, especially in winter when the temperature is low and the humidity is low, which slows down the curing process and requires fixtures to hold for longer periods of time, resulting in low production efficiency. Although ordinary epoxy adhesives have high strength, do not require a primer, and are easy to apply, they have the disadvantages of poor toughness, seismic resistance, and peel resistance, making them unsuitable for bonding bus skins.
Therefore, it is necessary to develop a new type of epoxy adhesive for bus skin bonding that is easy to operate, fast to locate, has good toughness, and high strength.
